As of 26 February 2022, in line with the latest directives issued by the Abu Dhabi authorities, you no longer need to take a PCR test to fly to Abu Dhabi if you're fully vaccinated against Covid-19. You will however need to show your vaccine certificate with a readable QR code.
If you are not fully vaccinated, you must present a negative PCR test result taken within 48 hours, or a Covid-19 recovery certificate upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport. Your recovery certificate must be dated within 30 days of departure and have a QR code.
This does not apply to children under the age of 16 or those who are medically exempt from being vaccinated against Covid-19.
There is no longer a quarantine requirement for any international travelers entering Abu Dhabi.
GREEN PASS REQUIREMENTS FOR MOVEMENT IN ABU DHABI
The Al Hosn app is the official UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) app designed to reflect your vaccination-related status and validity. The app gives you a Green Pass if you satisfy the UAE’s test and vaccination requirements and grants you access to all public places in the UAE, including shopping malls, hotels, public parks and beaches, as well as entertainment hubs like cinemas, museums, restaurants and cafés.
If you are traveling to Abu Dhabi from another emirate, you no longer require a Green Pass for entry at border posts, however it will still be needed for accessing public spaces across the capital.
YOUR WELLNESS COMES FIRST
For your complete peace of mind, we’ve implemented extraordinary safety measures to ensure that Yas Island's sanitization, hygiene, deep cleansing, social distancing and capacity guidelines are up to global standards.
Our efforts have been recognized by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) who awarded Yas Island with the coveted ‘Safe Travels’ global safety and hygiene stamp.
Our colleagues around Yas Island are fully vaccinated and will ensure a safe and and enjoyable experience for you at our parks and attractions.
